► Types of bills UCS accepts:
Hospital claims, ancillary facilities, physicians, chiropractic and some dental claims.
► Do you have dollar thresholds?
We do not have dollar thresholds. In fact, we encourage our clients to send us all of their out-of-network claims so we can save every available dollar.
► How do I transmit claims?
You may transmit claims via EDI, fax, internet, secure FTP site & via mail.
► How long is the setup time for EDI?
The normal setup time for EDI is 5 to 10 business days, depending on the complexity of the client's system.
► How long is your turnaround time?
If a claim is being repriced through a PPO network, it normally does not take more than a couple of hours. Claims that need to be negotiated take
1-2 business days. If any claim is out for longer than 3 business days, you will be contacted by UCS via email with the claim's status.
► Is UCS nationwide?
Yes, we discount claims in all 50 states.

► How are disputes or reversals handled?
Any out-of-network PPO discounted disputes are handled by UCS. We ask you to forward all disputes you receive to us. We then contact the provider to
see how we can resolve the issue. You are always kept informed on how the issue is being handled until it is resolved.
